The Windy SR40 made its international debut, and became the newest model in their Sports Boat line, on day one of the Palma International Boat Show.
A huge crowd of yachting press, industry contacts and Windy enthusiasts gathered to witness this exciting event. Windy owner, Jon-Trygve Hegnar, thanked people for their support and proudly cut the ribbon, with speeches also made by Windy CEO Trevor Fenlon, exterior designer and naval architect Espen Øino and Design Unlimited’s Mark Tucker.
Highlights of the SR40 include an enclosable helm, an adaptable interior with double berth and additional aft cabin option, galley unit, and a top speed in excess of 45 knots – with both inboard and outboard engine options available.
