It is not often that a yacht appears which is truly new and different – however the new Moody Deck Saloon range really did defy convention when originally launched, providing an inviting, modern loft-style saloon with all-round panoramic views enabling all aboard to communicate on one level.
Work was also undertaken by the Design Unlimited studio on the Moody Classic range, with the Moody 41 and 45 Classic models marking the beginning of a new era. These models retain the traditionally attractive aft cockpit whilst combining it with the best of modern design and engineering – values widely associated with the Moody brand.
Whilst totally up to date in terms of performance and comfort, the Classic range retains the essential essence that has made the Moody name synonymous with cruising. The interior on each yacht is impressive and, in the words of Yachting Monthly (Feb 2009 edition) in relation to the Moody 41, ‘Down Below – Mark Tucker’s team at Design Unlimited have created something special.’
