This 44-metre sailing superyacht, built at Vitters Shipyard, has been designed by Reichel Pugh Yacht Design and features a refined interior by Design Unlimited.
The yacht’s exterior features a modern, dynamic design characterised by sleek lines, plentiful glass, and a stylised superstructure. Outdoor spaces include a sunbathing pad and two separate seating areas. The expansive aft and forward decks provide ample room for relaxation, while the transom can be transformed into a large beach club.
This project is the client’s first collaboration with the Design Unlimited team, and we were tasked with creating an interior that exudes effortless grace and achieves a cohesive style throughout the yacht. The client’s brief emphasised consistency in styling, with a carefully curated selection of finishes that reflect the distinctive look found in the owner’s properties, which were designed in partnership with Pieter Laureys.
We worked closely with the client and their captain, customising the interior architecture to perfectly suit the client’s tastes. Throughout the process, the client was heavily involved, attending meetings to review samples and visuals which allowed for confident and bold design decisions to be made.
The colour palette is a sophisticated blend of warm tones, seamlessly transitioning between finishes with contrasting textures. Shimmering warm grey lacquer adorns the cabinetry, natural timber flooring adds warmth, and nubuck leathers provide a tactile, luxurious feel.
The master suite includes a statement island armoire, his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes, a spacious ensuite, and a private study. Forward of the engine room, there’s a double cabin to port and a bunk cabin for children to starboard. Aft, accessible via a grand staircase from the main deck, are two ensuite cabins that can be configured as twins or doubles.
