555 Beach House

The brief for this Florida Keys style beach house was for the house to feel like a home, with very social spaces for entertaining, a beachy, chilled and relaxed style to suit the nature of the Keys but with interesting details and high-quality craftsmanship, materials and furniture.  All in complement the typical Keys architecture.

The house is in the Florida Keys and faces out to the Atlantic ocean. Design Unlimited were tasked with re-fitting the interior, and are working alongside the builders, CBT construction.

The back of the property features a covered barbecue area with dining and lounge plus a pergola with large U-shaped sofa and fire pit. There is a large pool with loungers and hanging seats.

There is a dock area to the front of the property with boat lift, outdoor kitchen and tiki hut.

On the ground floor you can find a large open living area with pool table, bar and cinema space. There is a bunk room which sleeps four people and garage storage. On the first floor sits the kitchen and dining space with open plan lounge area and two guest bedroom suites plus laundry room. A separate lounge space is connected by an outdoor walkway which has a balcony, bar, sitting area, bathroom and sleeper sofas.

On the top floor is a large master suite with walk in steam shower, separate WC and balcony with seating and an outdoor shower.
