22 Jan Windy 29 Huracán unveiled at Boot Dusseldorf
The Windy 29 Huracán was unveiled on day one of the 2024 Boot Düsseldorf boat show.
A huge crowd of yachting press and industry contacts gathered at the stand to witness the event, with Windy owner Jon-Trygve Hegnar, Windy CEO Trevor Fenlon, exterior designer Espen Øino and Design Unlimited’s Mark Tucker each speaking about different aspects of the boat’s design.
The Windy 29 Huracán is the latest addition to the Windy range and continues Design Unlimited’s successful collaboration with Windy, who have now recognised the studio as their strategic partner for interior design across the brand’s sports cruiser range.
The generously proportioned cockpit of the 29 Huracán makes the boat a superb all-rounder, with plenty of seating allowing you to entertain up to eight guests on a day out whilst having all the necessary amenities for two to enjoy on an extended stay.
The 29 Huracán offers the speed you associate with smaller boats whilst providing the comfort of bigger models. With a wide range of diesel and petrol engine options, the 29 Huracán is capable of speeds in excess of 40 knots. At an economical 21-knot cruising speed, the 29 Huracán has a range of 230nm while holding 10% fuel in reserve.
